Frank ZinckChief instructor Frank Zinck - Master Zinck holds a fifth degree black belt and a Menkyo Kaiden Masters ranking in Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu.

Master Zinck also holds a second degree black belt in Karate-do Shotokai and still trains on a regular basis at the Brookhouse Elementary School off Spring Ave in Dartmouth. Master Zinck is also ranked in several other styles and systems.

Master Zinck is the senior instructor of RSAD (Rape Self Awareness Defense) in Nova Scotia, a self-defense workshop for women offered throughout metro. He is also a recognized senior NICT instructor and technical advisor as well as a graduate of Tactical Academy of Controlling Techniques.

Master Zinck is best known for his work helping to develop confident youth and is the creator of the internationally renowned “Bully Proof” program. Bully Proof is assertiveness training for kids and teaches kids how to deal with schoolyard violence in non-violent ways. Local law enforcement often refers parents to Frank’s lectures and seminars.

 

Johanne ZinckInstructor Johanne Zinck - is a first degree Black Belt and secretary treasurer in Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu and is a certified instructor in WAS and RSAD and also trains in Karate-do Shotokai. She is strongly dedicated to helping build the self-confidence of women through Ju-Jitsu and WASP. She is also a senior instructor for Bully Proof and graduated from the Tactical Academy of Controlling Techniques, is certified in Nerve Impact Control Tactics and has successfully completed workshops on Yawara stick and ground fighting. She is a strong leader and instructor in the Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu and Karate-do Shotokai youth program and is the co-treasurer of the KRJJ Foundation.

 

 

 



Jacques DionneThe late Jacques Dionne
(created and started TACT) was born and raised in Ottawa and started practicing Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu when he was just five years old. He became the national head (Kaiden Rank) of the Kyushu Ryu Budo Renmei in 1975 after the Kyushu-Ryu system was handed down to him by his instructor Tadanori Matsumoto just prior to Tadanori’s death. Jacques was suddenly taken from us on January 8, 2004.

Besides holding the title of Grandmaster of Kyushu-Ryu, Jacques held a 7th Degree black belt in the Ju-Jitsu and Combat Arts. He was also the author of two published books on Sexual Assault Defence & Awareness used scholastically.

Jacques had over 40 years experience studying and teaching the martial arts and self-defence systems. He has taught at many martial arts clinics and clubs all over North America using his theories of self-defence. He is the creator of both T.A.C.T. (Tactical Academy of Controlling Techniques) and N.I.C.T. (Nerve Impact Control Tactics) and is a certified master in the martial art of Ju-Jitsu. Jacques has taught NICT and his martial arts for Joe Lewis and Bill Wallace at the Radford Virginia Base Seminars and has participated in seminars with Bruce Lee, Joe Lewis, Bill Superfoot Wallace, Gokkar Blood sport two, Steve Nasty Anderson, Michael D Pascal jr. and sr., Ed Banks, Ed Parker father of Kempo system, Chuck Norris and the Gracie family. His knowledge, skill and competitive spirit were internationally recognized and he will be greatly missed.
